I don't see why the ole boy doesn't expand his range from 10 sq. miles to 15 or 20? Neither of the three are that hard to cover...even on horse. Might be able to find a fuel pump easier..

Toyjokas? Lol...dweebs.

Page 3 is good:

I bet a part store has a fuel pump for a Toyota.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

They're just blinded by denial and are fighting the inner beast. It's sad really.

Body Damage is Cool
Our shop Chevy (2005) is on it's second transmission, rear end has worn out twice and the motor has lost compression in 1 cylinder but still lopes along. Valves tick, AC pump wore out last summer, rear shocks leak oil and the brakes have sucked since it was brand new. Just rolled 70K, wow.

Not much of a "truck" at all, pretty sad piece of work since day one.

We're budgeting to lease a new Toyota so we can get a commercial vehicle use drivetrain warranty.

As long you don't need 1 ton truck and high capacity. I can see someone trading in a Tundra to a 3/4 or 1 ton superduty if they needed it, not realizing that Toyota's truck are all 1/2.

The 4x4 Tacoma has less official capacity than my old 1989 Toyota pick-up.

The humungo Tunda only has between a hundred and a couple hundred more, depending on model.

I'm not saying Toyota makes total junk, because are decent rigs, but if they sold what they made overseas, including the new Hilux, then at least they'd be true to their marketing. All we're getting here something that was designed to complete directly with the domestics in looks and size and engine power, but not things that matter like heavy duty rating and capacity.

In other words, marketed to the general masses for use as commuter trucks that look like commercial vehicles. The folks that "need" commercial vehicles are still buying the domestics.

Kind of reminds of GM selling the H2, which is bought by commuters to "look" like a serious off road rig, when it really isn't.
