Unlike Scerb and Margie, I'll be your advocate.
Using this... linky , and assuming you want an extended cab and TRD Off Road pkg. I came up with a msrp of $27550 with a price to start negotiating from of $26475 in Burlington. Seeing that they "supposedly" gave you $4700 for your truck, which in reality they didnt, you would be at around $23000. You always take a beating on a trade in so I would try to sell it on your own, then use the $26475 to start negotiations.
Another tip is to use the link for pricing and get internet pricing quotes through local dealers. You will often get better quotes because their internet salesperson supposedly operates on a lower commission and depends on volume. This is called a "mini deal" in the new car business. Yeah they will claim that they're only making $50 on the sale but thats alot of bull. The best thing that you can do is to go in there informed with print outs with prices. Also they will try to deal in terms of monthly payments instead of final total cost. Deal with total cost and break down the payments after a price is agreed upon. More good info.. link link . Good luck, go get em!
