I would see if you could find an older jeep diesel(if what i heard was correct and they did make them) I am not sure the newer ones will run grease.I know in the 80's toyota had a diesel in their pickup,and from what dad tells me thatthe diesel engines that work the reefer trailors are 100 and something hp cats(could have misunderstood/heard him) check those out as well.heck if you really want one im sure their are some cat forklifts around you can get an engine from.

Another problem is how to hook all of it up to your jeep if you do get the new diesel, you will need to buy the wiring and everything , unless they plan on including it,and what kind of ungodly amount of money will they charge for it.
I say everyone should ride cows to work,they are fuel efficiant,burn renewable sources,their wastes can be used to fertilize the renewable sources,and best of all if it gives you trouble,when you get home kill it and call it dinner, have a couple back up cows in case. you can buy 3 or four for less than a good used car lol

Now onto the price of diesel , it is a bunch of bs that kind of pricing .diesel has always been the cheeper fuel and here is why. diesel takes less refining to make,and noone wanted a diesel to to the noise and smell., but now that they are becoming more popular due to the economy that they get,less smelly and noisey, not to mention every Tom,Dick and Harry(sorry to any that actually have those names lol) that wants to start a landscaping buisness( here in jersey anyway) the price has gone through the roof. now it seems to me that if demand is higher,the supply is there,and it costs less to make why the hell should it be so damn expensive. if the govt. has any sense they would say " ok diesels are better on fuel economy,put out less overall emissions,and more power for cheaper lets make more car companies make them. We all know that the govt. don't give a rat's <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" /> about us as long as they get their money. sure someone will say but opec is the cause of pricing, and the amounts made. yes that is so ,BUT at the same time how many billions or more profits do fuel companies make a year. That tells me they are way overpricing everything. which leads to this.I belief that the whole reason the economy is going in the downward spiral is due to the fuel pricing. and if the gov't can't see that they are a bunch of idiots that have no buisness in office. it is getting to the point now that people are not going out to spend money because they need that money for the nessesities,so they are not going out riding around shopping. in the big city areas it don't matter due to mass transit(busses, subways and the like) and pretty much all of new jersey/new york is like that but what about other places that dont have it. ~sigh~ i guess i post stole and ranted enough about this.
