Not sure how accurate the statement was but I was at a meeting the other day and we saw a short film about 2 young men who converted a Toyota small firetruck to bio diesel and drove it from Alaska to the end of South America. They used everything from salmon oil to used french fry oil and never bought a drop of gas. The statement was that if we used every drop of used oil for these conversions all it would run would be 1% of the vehicles on the road today.
