Gotta agree with Jim on this one. As a long time motorcycle builder/rider/tuner you have to look at this as a system, not just a single component. Can't tell you the number of times people have come to me with the question, " I just installed a new (insert here - exhaust, header, air intake, cam, etc.) and I see no big difference..." So, the following bit of advice.

While you may start with headers and an exhaust system, the reality is that until you also address the intake system limitations, the fuel mixture (as the air volume will change and may involve remapping the ignition system)you will not realize the value of the investment. And, the parts have to be selected to work together, not just a random purchase of parts. Remember what goes in must come out. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
