I have a 94 v6 ext. cab ifs 4wd yota with 33" BFG on it. Im about to buy new tires here soon and I need to change my gears. As of now it has stock 4.10 gears. I know I need 5.29 gears if i go the 35" route. the problem is i cant find a place that will do the gear swap with out charging me a outragous price! Its damn near crazy what they wanna charge me. So if there is any body close to southern maryland area that can change gears, i will pay you to do it, beer and some cash. PLEASE I need this done. If i cant get the gears done im gonna sell her. I dont want to sell her but shes getting horrible gas mileage right now. So if anybody can change my gear i will pay COLD HARD CASH and BEER. lol anyways pm me and i will give you my number so we can talk about. thanks WOODY

A cheaper route would be to find a set of gears from a 4runner that came with 4.88's from the factory. They were usually in runners with the V6, auto tranny, and factory 255 (31") tires.
93 4runner V6, 4.88's, 31" mt's with more to come. 03 Tundra V8 on 265's

on pavement..... kaboom or at least .. sqawk skawk errrr errr errr, bing bing bing ting ting.... aw shhhhhhhhhh..... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />
in the mud or on non paved surface.. for emergency only to get unstuck.
ive got a 4.10 in my front and a 5.29 in the rear, i just had to wait on a solid spacer. ive got the 5.29 rear 3rd ready to go now but i havent had time to swap it and i dont have a front shaft yet so its not a big deal. i would suggest keeping the hubs unlocked unless you have auto hubs if so remove the front shaft, those cases can easily slip into gear by mistake if your shifters are close together
