I appreciate the suggestion. I just don't see a practical way to implement it from both a safety and comfort perspective. Any pad across the back will also eliminate the use of the sliding rear center glass too. Also, a hard enough hit in the back may not stop the rear seat rider's head from breaking the glass. Sometimes I carry 2 riders in the back seat.

Honestly, I just don't see it as being a safe ride back there and wish I had a better alternative than selling my T. (although that's not in the immediate future from a financial perspective).
