Got any suggestions for a QUIET high flow muffler. When I'm hunting, I would like it to be as quiet as possible. Right now I'm running a old fashioned turbo muffler.
Still thinking about putting on a turbo, which with a muffler will be pretty quiet.

I WANT TO SAY ONE THING-

STIFFER SPRINGS ONLY SEEM TO HELP TO PREVENT A ROLL-OVER BECAUSE THEY LESSEN BODY ROLL. THE FACT THAT BODY ROLL IS LESSENED, JUST MEANS THAT YOU WILL FEEL THE EFFECTS OF THE ROLL COMING ON LESS THAN YOU WOULD WITH A SOFTER SUSPENSION. IT DOES MAKE IT SLIGHTLY MORE DIFFICULT TO ROLL DUE TO THE FACT THAT BODY ROLL CREATES WEIGHT SHIFT, BUT IN THE CASE OF A 3300 LB VEHICLE, THE WEIGHT SHIFT WE SEE IN BODY ROLL IN STOCK FORM DOESN'T ACCOUNT FOR ALL THAT MUCH.

SO, BASICALLY, LIFTING IT WITH STIFFER SPRINGS PROBABLY JUST KEEPS THE ROLL-OVER POINT RIGHT ABOUT WHERE IT WOULD BE IN STOCK FORM. IT'S JUST A GUESS, THOUGH.

FOR SALE:

Complete future wife (includes)

2 - legs nearly no miles on them (taken off at the dealer)

2 - runners (New in the box w/ hardware)

2 - pregnant belly Sway bar

2 - UPYOURKIA Front bra cups

(all of the parts are NEW and never installed)

I want to sell the wife as a whole, $200 plus shipping, but if no one is interested I will consider selling the parts seperately. $200 is about $50 less than what I bought her for so someone will be getting a pretty good deal, but I don't want to fight with my finances anymore.

PM me if interested.

Thanks,
Chris Eichman

I tried all those excuses and she just wont believe it. I thought about just doing it and seeing if she noticed, but I think it will be pretty noticeable, and I know she'll throw a $h1t fit if she does notice.

All you need to do is throw a couple bags of sand in the back of your Sportage, preferably on one side. Bring fiance out and show her the rear end is sagging on one side and the springs need to be replaced. Put on lift and tell her you didn't realize the springs were that worn out, but it sure looks like a stock Sportage once again. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

2001 Sportage, TJ 106's, Everet spacers and bumpstops, Bilstein shocks on the rear, cone filter, Crager wheels, 235-75-15 Goodyear tires. Custom front winch bumper by Dave Scott. Currently DOA, but it is a work in progress.
