I've been thinking of buying a new FJ Cruiser, but in doing research on the web, I found one review, where the writer (in Atlanta) stated that all dealers in Atlanta would void the warranty if you took in a truck that had paint scratches or dings on the underside. Claimed they said the vehicles were "abused".

So, why would any off-roader seriously consider a new FJ?
