Havent tried the PIAA, but I did buy some $15/blade Michelin's that are the newer curved shape, and those still streak in the middle. I think theres something wrong with the wiper arm itself. Try this before buying a new arm. Bend the last three inches or so of the wiper arm down towards the windshield. You can usually do it with your hands then set the arm and blade back on the glass. This puts more pressure on the center of the blade and will take care of any 'light pressure spots' which usually causes streaking (if you don't have crappy blades).
