Personally if it were running right when you put it away I'd skip this to the front of the list and start w/: Carb (Take it off, clean it)
The bad thing about carbs is that they cant sit long before its detrimental to them. It probably needs a quick cleaning, slap it back on. When you do that just change the filter, its like $5 and check the lines going to it, but I doubt they have any impact over your problem right now. Start w/ the carb.
