Second time in about six months that gear lube leaked from the transfer case. Configuration is auto trans, adapter case, t-case. There is a mount at the bottom of the adapter case that bolts to a crossmember. The mount is where the lube shows up. I don't see any lube that has leak down from the top of the adapter or t-case. Doesn't look like any leaks between trans and adapter mating surface or between adapter and t-case mating surface. It's just the mount on the bottom of the adapter that is covered in gear oil. I checked the fsm and couldn't figure out any possibilities. It seems like it has leaked these couple of times when we get in the truck cold and immediately (within 1/4 mile) get on the highway. I've clean the mount off and I'll keep an eye on it this week. Any other ideas? Thanks, Jim Tulsa '89 two door v6 auto
