it is black and moist looking, i just assumed it was burnt oil. it is using about a quart every 300 mi.
From what i know either all four rings went bad when the new head was put in or the head came with bad seals, but i am no expert for sure. I am hoping its just something to do with the install, but of course it probably isn't
