I've got he same problem; bought a used front centre section that was in an ADD truck and I have manual hubs. It sounds like the left side tube off the non-ADD section is a bolt-on replacement for the ADD and shorter tube? Are there any other gaskets or parts to replace while it's apart? 1989 4Runner Special Edition 22RE, 5-spd.
