Really depends on driving style, width of tires, and torsion bar settings. A buddy of mine ran a set of BFG 365's(equivalent to a 31x12.50), on 15's with 1" lift set in for the T-bars, and it cornered well enough w/o the sway bar.

If you corner hard like I do in my '90 than you would want to keep the sway bar, I actually increased mine by adding poly bushings, basically doubling the size of the bar.
