When you get one it's time to start thinking about gears...You'll want to go deeper than 4.10's for 36's.

(sad day) the guy sold that 44 today. i talked to him last and was told if the dude didnt buy it then it was mine.but unforantly it was sold,so im going to start saving. he does however have a set of 6in coils for a tj that came off his 99 for 150. i just have to peice together a long arm kit from there. so if he still has those i will be picking them up. as long as the dude dont buy them. i plan on going with wither a 4.10 or a 4.56

Mossy you will be waaaay to high geared with either of those gear choices. With taller tires it will take MORE rpm to keep em turning that it does with shorter tires and stock gears. I wouldn't hesitate to go into the 5's and the 4:88 just might be too high..
Since you have a choice you should be VERY careful which you purchase. You will need to use high gear and with 4:56's it will be lost to you forever.

heres a set of axlles i may be picking up this wekend if i can make them work easy.
http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/pts/626053492.html

right now i think i may go with a 1.25 body lift and run a 34x10.5 or a 35x10.5 or even 12.5

which would i better off with with the 4in susp. and maybe a 1.25 body for a total of 5.25

if theres anything i am misin glet me know please.thanks for all the help.

You will have to do some mods to those axles to make them work...like retubing them. Those axles are from a narrow track Jeep like my '81. They will not be wide enough for '82 and later Jeeps.
