With that much boost how much HP are you expecting?

Looking for around 550awhp. Last year I was right around 500awhp going off 1/4mile ET/MPH

Wow! What tyres are you planning to use to get that much power on the road? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

I sure as hell hope you can put more than 550rwhp with a BBC<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />. And yes I have to use a turbo to make that much power but I am also only a 2.0 <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.

As for tires I use BFG KDW for the street. For the track this year I have 4 Hoosier QTP'S slicks.

I'm wondering which would be less reliable... the one running 32 psi, or the chebby. Might be a toss-up. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> That's some pretty stupid power from a 2.0. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />

I brought the movie thing up because the imports, for the tuner car looks and mods, in comparison. I like the way the Skyline looks. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
The GTR I had forgotten about the article I read. That is the one that did better than compete with the Corvette in performance and price? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/mrt.gif" alt="" />
I can't wait to see them around and about. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

Oh, I don't know. What about the 50's BRM V-16 supercharged 1.5L at 500hp? Or the F1 turbo days in the 80's knocking out 1800hp out of a 1.5L. 550hp out of a 2.0L seems easy now, right?
<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

My mistake, the BRM had 600hp at ~12K rpm with 5.7 bar of boost which is of course 82psi <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/mrt.gif" alt="" /> Imagine the size of the pistons. Total displacement was 88ci split in to 16, spinning at 12k rpm...all in the early 50's, wow!

Yup, the GTR is a high end skyline is all. Like M3 vs BMW 3 series, or RS4 vs Audi A4, etc.
