That's some pretty stupid power from a 2.0. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />

Oh, I don't know. What about the 50's BRM V-16 supercharged 1.5L at 500hp? Or the F1 turbo days in the 80's knocking out 1800hp out of a 1.5L. 550hp out of a 2.0L seems easy now, right?

My mistake, the BRM had 600hp at ~12K rpm with 5.7 bar of boost which is of course 82psi <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/mrt.gif" alt="" /> Imagine the size of the pistons. Total displacement was 88ci split in to 16, spinning at 12k rpm...all in the early 50's, wow!

Isn't the going rate about 100hp per liter for non-boosted engines?
