Thanks for the replies so far.

Snowtoy, I think I could swap an engine out, but a rebuild would be a little above my skill level, although I would love to learn. Thanks for the input on the truck vs. 4 runner issue. I think I want to go the truck route. I will checkout the Craigslist link.
