I have done the 2wd test already, so that pretty much eliminates the back 1/2. I will try these other ideas though. I have not done anything w/the front axle u-joints. All the other joints from the tranny forward are greased and appear to be in good shape, but I'm not above tearing it all down and replacing them at this point.
