Its on the very back of the engine, on the back of the intake manifold. THeres 2 or 3 other sensors with plugs on them. Coolant hoses run in and out of the little block.


But you dont need to access the switch to test it. You can probe the wires at the ECU to test the switch. Look up in the FSM (theres a link at the top of this forum) and it will tell you which wires go to the timer and what the values should be.

Check/clean your idle air control valve too.
