I thought the difference would be alot more. With 31 10.5 tires, the police display they set on the side of the road says at 25 miles per hour, i'm actually at 28. Was not aware of more difference at higher speed.

If it is anything like the one I was talking of, you cut the vss output wire and connect the vss side of the wire to the IN and the speedometer side wire to the OUT.

Vehicle Speed Sensor. It replaces the speedometer cable and feeds electric impulses to the ecm and speedometer.
If you have a manual with wiring diagrams, you should be able to trace it out.
