Getting the Wheeling Fever
Gents, I finally had to break down and list my beloved T100. I am tired of shifting gears and I just had shoulder surgery so I'll be driving the automatic from now on. My loss is your gain. My truck has less than 51K miles on it and is a beauty. Please spread the word to the faithful on other boards. This is the only Toyota message board I look at.

Thanks

Sorry about that. Didn't mean to bust anyone's ad pimping policy. I just wanted to get the word out to guys like you who love the mighty T100. I have been hanging around this board for four or five years now and thought you guys should know about this truck. Delete if you must, mods......

This seems pretty relevant to the T100 board... if mods have to delete the ebay thread so be it, but leave the info up so interested folks can PM hogula with questions.

That is a VERY NICE T100! I'm watching it to see if it sells with your starting price. It is certainly worth it.

Sorry to see you let the T go though.

That's a bummer. Can't pimp ebay here tho'.

If you want to get particular, the rule about linking to an auction site is posted in the For Sale section and is a rule for posting in that section. Nowhere does it state that links to auction sites are not allowed in the individual sub-sections.

We have a longtime member, with a one of a kind truck, posting it's availablity in the most visited T100 forum on the 'net. No one here is complaining, so perhaps a little less unnecessary moderation is what is needed here.

Moderators should be handling complaints, not creating them.

Don't sweat it. Although its technically not allowed, I've always been lax about enforcing "for sale" rules in the T100 section... as long as the privilege isn't abused.

This is a slow forum, our trucks are fairly unique, and we are a pretty close-knit group. For Sale posts are infrequent enough here that I think they generally help more than they hurt. Sometimes I'll move a post to the For Sale section and leave a link here so that the T100 folks can still see it, but in this case I won't because Ebay links are definitely a no-no over there.

* Just remember that the rules state that there should be no "For Sale" posts in the "Tech" sections, that Ebay links are also not allowed in the "For Sale" section, and that these rules will be more strictly enforced in other sections of the forum.

Body Damage is Cool

Man, that truck is gorgeous... Wish I had the blue color, wish I had the tranny.

$10MM is a little high for the dogs though - they seem to be getting up there in years...

Thanks for the kind comments. I really hope one of you guys gets it for $15000.01 and takes care of the way I have tried to do. I'd hate to see it turned into a work truck or rock crawler. The ad has 130 hits and 21 people have it on watch lists.

You have taken great care of your T. I like your idea of the high bid so that the buyer has the respect our trucks deserve (ok, biased I know). Best of luck and if it doesn't sell now, maybe yours will be the one Toyota buys back in 10 years when they realize they should make them again smile.
