I've actually never thought about brake pad break-in or done it. Except of course unknowingly doing the gentle braking in method because I'm always easy on the brakes. I agree with internet conflicting opinions. The internet gave us access to more info but also more confusion. Used to be I'd weigh the opinions of 3-4 people I actually knew, now I have to consider the opinion of a 1000 strangers.
