So how does the top end sound with the new head? Was the rest of the valve train "new" or reman? Any leaks? How about the oil pressure? Thanks, I have talked to them as well (app 250k on mine now, I did the TC thing last summer).

I did get the whole long block with all new parts and it is so much better it doesn't sound like a diesel anymore lol. I'm still hoping it gets more power once it's broken in. I bought the upgraded cam under the impression that it would give me a enough power so I wouldn't have to down shift from 5th to 4th as much when going up a slight incline. My old engine only had 150psi compression and a stock cam and the new engine doesn't feel any stronger. It does seem very well put toghether and has a great warranty I would deffinately buy from Sunwestautomotive again. I called them quite a few times before purchasing and they were always very helpful and never acted like I was bothering them.

I just purchased a long block from them less than a month ago. I am waiting on a throw out bearing and I will be ready to set her in place (Monday). I know just enough to get myself into trouble or out of trouble depending upon how you look at it but I will post back with my results. This website is full of good information for guys that love their 4runners and trucks.
Good Luck!
