I have had mine out, and without either TOTALLY rewiring your main harness or somehow building a pigtail that will plug in and extend it, i dont see it happening. Some of the guys here have just sealed theres, others have it sittin there loose so if it gets wet they pop it out and dry it over someones car heater, plug it back in and go.
