Did a swap last year and put a 88 3 core rad in my 85 22re pickup. The rad fits great but only problem i have is the upper rad hose neck has a 45% bend to the outside of the veh making the stock hose have a pretty tight bend to it. What hose have people used to correct this?

B <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />end a coat hanger in the shape that you'd need the hose to be. Imagine the wire is running down the center of the hose. Then go to an auto parts store and look for a close match. Remember you can trim the ends, you'll be looking for a hose with the correct bends. Shouldn't be too hard.

What is the radiator off of? What sort of hose shape did it have?

I have a 3-row radiator in my '85 and it has a straight top hose fitting:

Maybe have a radiator shop cut off the old fitting and solder/braze on a straight one?

Careful not to melt the other soldered joints.
