I have a 1998 T100 SR5 that I bought in 2001 when it had 26,000 miles on it. It's a 4WD, automatic transmission, 3.4L, with 80,800 miles. The engine has been flawless and has only experienced regular maintenance like spark plugs and oil changes.

There have been 2 problems that Toyota fixed free--the steering idler arm and sticking seat belts.

It took awhile to find a tool box that would fit the width of the truck bed and the placement of the humps from the wheel wells, but United Welding Service out of Florida had a nice one.

I did hear some louder engine noise and found some holes in the muffler this week, but the truck is 10 years old. I get 18 mpg in town and 20-22 on the highway. The fit and finish of the truck is excellent, and I plan to keep it for another 10 years.
