My Previa has 250k on it and needs new tires. The last set Pirelis lasted 100k over 4yrs. I don't know if I'll keep it for another 100k....so here is my dilemma.

I'm deciding between the same Pirelis (80K warr) and a cheap set of FISK tires (45K warr). The price difference is about 200.

Which should I get? I leaning toward the Pirelis, but my wife doesn't want to spend the extra $$.

I just went through a similar dilemma for my other car. I ended up with middle of the road tires versus tires which got very high reviews so I could have an extra $200. We'll see in a while if I made the right decision.

Try Costco to see what they have. You might find a better name brand tire for around the same price. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />

Shop around. You might be surprised at some discounts you could get over running down to the local tire shop.

That's one of the funniest things I've read all week! It could be a lot worst than Sean Connery. It could be Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

What? Dick wasn't accurate? Britany Spears sounds British though, right?

Not especially! But real question is what tyres did she use in the movie 80K milers or 40K milers? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
