Hey,
Does anyone know if one was to get a 50mm Fork......What strut would you get?
(It should be shorter right)? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
And how much higher would the front end be?
What mods would be needed?
Suspension upgrades! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/oink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/oink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/oink.gif" alt="" />

you would still use the stock strut, that is how you get your lift.
50 mm is 2 inches longer, so it would be the same as adding the 2 inch spacers. which i think is a 4" lift. i was going to get these if i could get ahold of them, and then build all my dif drop brackets and drop the lower control arms and have the knuckles modded to have a big ifs lift.
but gave up on that after a few months of trying to get ahold of them.

So, with the RSG front strut adapter.....Would you keep that?
Maybe I am overthinking the simple geometry here......The front strut would be the same then ---and the brake line prolly would be stretched only?
So in all it would be a 6" total front lift?

k i just want to make sure im understanding. you are asking if you could put a 2" spacer on top of the rsg front lift for a total of 6" of lift? what would you do for the back, areostar springs? i think that would be way cool if thats what you mean, but it may get awful tippy.

The longer forks will do the same thing that my spacers do except on the other end, 4inches is still about the max lift you should go without lowering your front diff, the CV axles just cant take any more of an angle. Adding to the forks will cause problems so I would use the stock struts and springs. Daves Rocksport lift gives as much travel as shown on the pic on that website. Except for that 5.38 gears you can get the lifts here in the US from people you can get in touch with. It does look like quality stuff though.
