I used to be very courteous to the 2 wheelers, even when they acted like they owned the trail, I would still pull over and let them by. However after years of getting just as many glaring looks as thanks, and after a similar situation to yours(I was yielding to 2 quads) about 6yrs ago, I don't even bother to pull over or stop when I see them coming anymore.
