What those four guys were probably watching for was a broken motor mount, and the resulting leaping of the engine. Downright fun to watch, and most startling. Nothing you've described sounds like a broken motormount.

That's very different from excessive motion from a sloppy/worn/weak/etc motormounts and or transmission mount(s). Excessive motion is much more difficult to quantify, as there are no specific values for acceptable motion and rocking.

Usually, but not always, a motormount and transmission mount will work acceptably even when worn and sloppy. But not always. The odd one does allow too much motion, letting things like the exhaust bump up against a frame rail and such.
