Incase anyone is following this still: I gave up, the shop I work for is
1. Sick and tired of me, sorry but the truck still aint right..
2. They dont have the manpower or time to play with it when paying customers come first.
So im taking itback to my old mechanic and lets see if he can figure it out.

Sorry to hear about your T100. I had a 95 T100 xtracab that had same stuff going on. I started spending money on it and was getting no where and decided to cut my losses and get rid of it. It was my 4th T100 but the first with that problem. I am now looking for another T100 but man they are getting hard to find. Good luck with yours.

Yea, I may have to get rid of it. Sadly I really like this one since it has a newer engine with 50k on it and has alot of other work done to it.
What did you replace Hack?
I wanna know what symptoms were present with bent axle shafts, cause imho there aint much else to go with by now.

I wish I could tell you. I reconditioned the rear brakes and put in new wheel bearings at the same time. One of my shakes went away. Or maybe all the air leaked out of the tires while I was working on it.... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />

Well I got it back.
My shifter still doesnt lock into park that easy, Il adjust it a bit more-but thats not a big deal. Brakes are ok.
Vibe is ok, still there on take off but much lessened. He said although the u-joints seemed fine, he made sure they moved with ease and went over them and everything else. I am thinking Im gonna need to replace them sooner or later, as the vibe is still there but like I said its nowhere near what it was.
I can still see the transfercase shifter move, but it doesnt wiggle like it did and on take off it aint so bad, seems more gas I give more you notice it. While driving its ok, i know its there but its not as bad.
I also need new tires, not only are these imho crap, they are out of round badly..which may be part of my issue. I tried to balance them 3x and can only get them close.
Anyone running firestone AT or MT's? Opinions? I only ask b/c tirerack gave them a good review and I can get them for less b/c I know the firestone guys.

I had no issues with the original Dunlop Grand Treks (75k on them) nor the Michelin LTX (45k+) that are currently on my truck.

I have the Yokohama Geolander A/T-S series. Seems to wear great and pretty quiet on the road when new. Great wet traction, too!

What did they do? Just mounts, no axle problem?
