I'd run it unless it didn't start. You'll likely get crappy fuel economy out of it, but who cares? You probably only paid $2.50 a gallon for it last year.

If you aren't sure how the engine runs after the rebuild, I'd drain it and run a tank of new, clean fuel. Then pour it back in and burn it.
