I was looking at my v6 in my '91. I noticed I have an Air pump....i don't know what this is doing here? So I looked in my haynes (useless) manual, (anyone know if a bently is available for this truck?) and looked at the whole air pump system and saw that it is essentially taking air from my TBI and putting it straight into my Exhaust?
So I say: "Steal air from my engine will you? I'll rip you out you useless peice of junk." <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> Then I says to myself: "Self, be rational. Ask the guys on Isuzu forum. They'll know."
So here I ask. Does anyone really know what the air pump does other than steal air from my TBI? v6 in 91 trooper.
