I don't know about the boots, but I doubt you can get them new. I don't think they have been available for a long time. The junkyard is an option.

With a 01/97 date, I would put a good bit of money being yours has the 17-spline axles. I would also guess you have a rear 10-bolt axle with drum brakes. While the division is not that sharp, it tends to be the later build dates that started using the 88-up parts.
