I have a leak in the 2 power steering hoses that run parallel to eachother under the radiator and i need to replace them asap. I bought 10mm tubing and compression unions and was planning on just cutting tubing where the leaks are and replacing them with the new tubing, however im thinking maybe this isnt the best idea since the rest of the tubing may be too rusted for the compression unions to work.
So my questions are, where can i get the right power steering lines(i went to some sites, but there were 6 or 7 different ones to choose from ranging from $9-$120), is there more to it then just taking the old lines off and throwing the new ones on, and would it be more worth it to take it to a shop and have them do it(and around how much $$ would it cost). im not too much of a car mechanic, but if its a simple line swap then im capable of doing so.
