so the other day i was driving my pickup in 4wd and i noticed that when i turn i hear a loud clunk coming from the right side. it feels like its in the tires and, considering that it has 386,000 on the clock, im thinking the cv joints are going out. is there any way to check and see if they are indeed bad without tearing it apart? none of the boots are torn, but from a stop i hear a slight thump thump thump that gets faster as i pick up speed. i have a 91 v6
