maybe not 20 but i would say more like 10. Yea, what can i say, i'm a busy guy..

I am trying to do some research before starting a new thread. Did you find your cure?

I replaced the sending unit on my girl friends 99 rodeo and now it seems to have the same problem. It takes 10-15 seconds cranking before it will start, once it starts it runs fine. If I mess with the key and run the fuel pump about 3 times before I turn it over it will start normally most of the time. Any suggestions? Is there a way an excess of air in the lines between the regulator and pump are the issue?

Roll Me Over
It seems to me that several years ago there were one or more threads that basically defined the issue as you have stated it. My memory is that the issue was the fuel was draining back away from the injectors when the vehicle sat for a while. I don't remember whether or not there was a TB or correction on the problem.

Ive searched back into 2005 or so, I cant see alot other than just the fuel regulator being talked about. Which I understand that sometimes stuff like that goes out on coincidence at the same time but I am doubting it. I dont see any talk of how I might have hurt it. Thanks for the reply.

I found my problem, I found a small hole in the flexible fuel line in the pump. Must have been too fragile as old as it was. Anyways I replaced the pump and its good now.
