That's an easy transplant, if you can manufacture mountings etc.

Electrical is easy for a (non-ECU) diesel:

  • Starter (off old engine)
  • Alternator (off old engine)
  • Fuel cut-off (connect to ignition)


Things that could extend your budget:
  • Mountings (engine & tranny)
  • Prop shafts (mods)
  • Air con pipes
  • Power steering pipes
  • Transmission hump mods, for levers (?)
  • Radiator & heater pipes
  • tranny cooler (I assume it's auto)


It will thus depend on your DIY skills or access to somebody else's.
