Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hello anyone, has anybody pulled the headliner out of one of these with the sunroof? I have to pop out a dent from the edge of the roof, right above the drip rail, just behind the rear of the sunroof. I figured if there isn't an internal substructure then I could pull the liner and pound it right out.
Is there an internal substructure, like a hood?
Thanks!

I have two big, long gash/dents on mine in about the same place. I just make a point not to look at them...it's worked for 9 years.

Sorry, never had the liner out of either of mine.

I've had mind interior apart and still do, but never looked too closely. Its got some structual support under there, but where and how much work it would be to get it back out, not sure. If you want to take it apart, you'll need a good day cause you'll have to take the trim off over the doors, then make sure you dont break the push pins that hold the interior roof together, then being careful not to bend it or it will never stay up like it used to. Its alot more work than it seems. But if you want it done right, you'll have to take your time pulling it down to get to it.

Personally, I'd leave it if it isnt leaking or nasty looking

OT, what ever happen to that guy or kid that took his Monty sand dune jumping and landed hard on its nose crinkling up the roof some around the doors? He ever get it fixed or sold?

Well, I guess this means I'll have to pull from the outside. Maybe suction cups or take it to the local body shop or pretend it's not damaged.
Thanks for the replies!
