Supe TRUST in our mechanics went away when EVERYONE in the shop is placed on COMMISSION as is customary in the larger nationwide shops. When a guys income depends on SELLING how can you trust whet he tells you?
In particular our newer vehicles run many thousands of miles longer without upkeep than our older vehicles did.
A prime example would be my wifes 2001 with 165K and complete original front end, shocks, brakes and on and on.
Changing parts just to have newer ones has never made sense to me.
