Need a Spot

Which 60 degree chevy long block option will be bolt in in place of the 2.8 in a 1991 trooper with 5speed? My goal is to do as little work as I can and get her back on the road ASAP. Also was told there is enough extra wiring to not worry about what side the starter is on with a 91 is this true. I hate to be a pecker but if you haven't tried please don't answer. I need only good info, trooper broke down today and got to be at work monday but junk yard open tomorrow.
