Need a Spot
Hi
I found this lying on the ground under my 03 Tacoma 4x4.

Any ideas as to what it is? The truck gets parked in my drive and it's the only thing that is parked there.
Thanks for any ideas.

Is it rubber, metal, plastic, etc. Need to be a bit more descriptive. A bigger pic might help too.

looks kinda like the balance weight on the rear drum. Earlier trucks didn't have them, but my 94 had them. Don't know if the tacomas have them or not.

Yup that's exactly what it looks like. My original drums had those on my '99.

Maybe take off the wheel (if needed) and look for a fresh rusty spot in that shape on the outside of the drums.
