The idler arm bush is known to shag out really quickly, which can give you the wobbles. Don't bother getting an alignment done without having the bush changed as it won't fix the vibes as it is slop in the linkage. Spend the $50 or so and have a set made out of bronze billet.

When you have the idler bush fixed, have the alignment done with the tyres and wheels that you intend to use on road as they can pick up things like an out of round rim, or a rim that doesn't run true. Ditto for the tyres you have fitted.


Thanks Gary! I'll be sure to check that bushing. I'm gunna have to have the alignment done with the stock wheels cuz the new black DC-1s could get chipped up from the alignment devices.

So general opinion is that if all my steering components are ship shape I prolly should'nt need a stabilizer?
