I got an alignment after installing the Gen2 UCA's. My before toe measurements were way off. Spec is 0.08-0.36 degrees. Left was negative 2.07; right was positive 2.56. I wonder if changing the UCA's was the cause? I'm surprised they were so far off, because the truck was tracking fine before the alignment. I could take my hands off the steering wheel and it would keep going straight as an arrow.

The only unresolved issue is right camber. Range is 0.5-1.5 degrees, and I'm at 0.2. So I need to increase camber by 0.8 to get it in the middle of the range. Using a handy-dandy degrees/minutes calculator on the web, 0.8 converts to 48 minutes of adjustment. The FSM says a 1mm shim will provide 13 minutes of adjustment, so I'm about two 2mm shims off, right?

The FSM isn't really clear, but I think I need to add shims to increase camber, correct?

That would put me at 4 2mm shims on that side. Is it OK to have that many shims?
