Wow, thanks for all the replies guys!!!

Richard S., I purchase mine in Temple.

Unfortunately the old girl isn't doing quite as good as I had originally thought, although still nothing too serious.

I just took her in to the Toyota dealer in Round Rock to have the Steering Rod Relay recall done.

Turns out one of my CV boots is completely ripped open and almost bone dry.

Also, both of my valve cover gaskets are leaking pretty good.

Toyota wanted to charge me about $1100 to do the work there. ($400 for upper lower CV boot replacement and $700 for valve cover gaskets)

They did say that beyond that the truck is in amazingly good shape...

I turned down the repairs...

My question now is, how difficult are these to do myself?

I am a fairly adept shade-tree mechanic. Over the last 6.5yrs that I have had this truck I have replaced the:

Alternator (3x, she really likes cheap alternators...)
Timing Belt (3x, long story. thank god for valve clearance!)
Water Pump (1x)
Thermostat (1x)
Rear Exhaust (1x)
Clutch (1x)
A\C Blower Fan (1x)
POTS Valve (1X)
Power Steering Pump (1x)
Stereo (1x)

and a few other little things that I can't think of right now...

Also, has anyone ever replaced a headliner before? If so, how difficult is it to do myself and how much should I expect to pay to have someone do it for me?
