Remember that for the overseas markets, things happened a year earlier than our way. (For the US at least, and I assume Canada too...?)

The Montero wasn't officially sold in Canada until 1999 or so. We're all driving true-to-year Japanese Domestics. It's just you folks south of the border who are a year behind.

The first "official" CDN Montero was 2003... only reason I know is because I walked into the dealer when it first opened in 03 and got a Lancer...

Hi from Belgrade. I have bought Pajero LWB 1999 2.8 diesel. The problem is that this Pajero is slight different than regular Pajeros for European market so I need some help from you. I noticed a few differences: 1. engine: 4M40 2835cc natural aspirated (EU standard: 2835cc turbo intercooler) 2. rear suspension: leaf spring (EU standard: coil springs) 3. no of sits: 9 sits (EU standard: 7 sits) 4. airbag: no airbags (EU standard: driver airbag) etc Since I would like to renew this vehicle can you help me regarding some information about this type of Pajero vehicles. Obviously it is vehicle for "heavy duty" purposes (UN, army....) Is it possible to find somewhere Mitsubishi spare parts catalogue on-line? Some of car manufacturers have web-sites for this purpose. ![[Linked Image]](http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll205/vucko111/1363_1.jpg)

We got some of those over here. Besides the engine and rear suspension, everything else is just like the regular Pajeros/Monteros. Most engine parts are the same too, except for things like cylinders, heads and valves. Also, some of these models do not have the SuperSelect transmission, but a version of the one found in the Gen I Pajeros. Hi from Belgrade. I have bought Pajero LWB 1999 2.8 diesel.
