The AMC 20 isn't a bad axle. It is 8 7/16" ring gear, as long as you don't have huge tires and you don't do burn outs all the time, or trans drops, it should hold up for some time. In the mean time I would save my pennies and look for a 9", but thatÆs just the Ford in me talkin. Most will tell you to save your pennies for a Dana 60
