Hi
Mine too as the exactly same thing

I put a new muffler and new pipes. And put back the o2 sensor that the past owner took off. IT's help a lot.
I know I have a too rich mixture. I don'T know how to fix that. (check engine light up some time, code 25-26)

I'm not sure about the timing.
